Locations 

Dandelion's unique outdoor settings are based within rich, diverse woodland environments. Boundary secure, each 'camp' features composting toilets, an outdoor kitchen area, and ample space in which to to play, explore, imagine and learn. Beyond our immediate boundary there are also a wealth of learning and play opportunities to be enjoyed: We may explore our extensive woodlands nearby.

Dandelion Education Limited is an ethos driven Alternative provision offering high quality, inclusive education. Dandelion offers a calm, tranquil environment that is perfect for the needs of many children for whom the hustle and bustle, bright lights and noise levels of​ conventional settings are overwhelming if not disabling. This is particularly the case for children presenting with ASD, ADHD and ADD traits. Dandelion also supports children with adverse childhood experiences. At Dandelion, we know that every child is a unique individual with the right to a supportive, enriching, and welcoming environment. We are committed to tailoring our plans to meet the diverse needs of all the children who attend Dandelion, regardless of their background, abilities, or challenges. We celebrate diversity and actively promote an inclusive culture that values different perspectives and experiences. Our staff are dedicated to understanding each child’s unique strengths and needs. We collaborate closely with families, caregivers, schools and specialists to ensure that every child has access to the resources and support they require to thrive. We encourage positive relationships built on respect and empathy, enabling children to develop their social skills and emotional intelligence in a natural context. Our approach includes adapting our activities, materials, and teaching strategies to ensure participation for everyone. We nurture the children in our care to feel safe, valued, and empowered, Together, we strive to inspire a love for nature, promote well-being, and build lifelong skills that transcend the boundaries of traditional education, ensuring that all children can flourish.
